Frequently asked questions

I have existing customers. How do I get them to book via Kept?

The best way to do this is to send them the link to your company profile in the Kept app. There is a ‘Share’ button that you can click in your profile and your phone will give you options on how you wish to send the link. We would suggest sending it to your current customers via text message so they can access the Kept app via the link they will receive. 

What services do you offer?

Kept offers a range of services. The only cleans all cleaners are required to do are ‘Standard’ home cleans and ‘Deep’ cleans. You can opt in and out of offering all add ons including exit cleans, oven cleaning, bed linen changing etc. You will specify what you do and don’t want to offer during your business set up.

Do I need to supply my own products?

Cleaners are expected to supply all cleaning products for the job with the exception of a vacuum cleaner (unless you prefer to use your own vacuum, which is also fine). If you would like guidance as to what we suggest you need for a starter kit please see our resources center.

Can I manage my own hours?

Absolutely! One of the main reasons we built Kept was to support cleaners to work on their own terms. You can choose the services you offer, the times and days you work and the price you charge. If you want to take a holiday you simply block out the time in your calendar so you won't receive bookings during that time. You are in control!

What if I have multiple cleaners working for me?

We have designed Kept to support both individual cleaners and larger businesses. Within your business profile you can add as many cleaner profiles as you like. The main business profile will act as the admin profile and will manage the services, calendars and availability of all of your cleaners.

When do I receive payment?

48 hours after the clean is complete (as long as there has been no dispute raised) Kept will process the payment into your designated bank account. See full Terms and Conditions for more information.

Can I reschedule a booking?

Yes you can! Please see our cancellation policy for possible fees associated with this. In most cases you can reschedule for free.
