Cleanseekers Limited trading as Kept (we, us or our) is committed to protecting all personal information you provide us in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act 2020 (the Act).  This page sets out our policies in respect of the collection, use, disclosure and protection of any information we receive from your use of the Kept website at www.kept.nz and any other affiliated platform (including smartphone app) that we may introduce from time to time (together, Kept Platform).  By using the Kept Platform, you are deemed to have read, and agree to be bound by, this Privacy Policy.  This policy does not limit or exclude any of your rights under the Act. We may change this policy by uploading a revised policy onto the website. The change will apply from the date that we upload the revised policy.

We collect personal information about you (such as your name, address, telephone number, email address and internet protocol (IP) address) through your use of the Kept Platform, including when you register on the Kept Platform or through any communications you have with us.Any third party that we use to process payments for purchases made through the Kept Platform may also collect your personal information.  Please refer to the relevant third party's privacy policy for further details. We may also collect information about how you access and use the Kept Platform to improve the Kept Platform and monitor traffic. We will only collect your identifying information if this is required for us to provide our Services to you.

d. to administer your account;to monitor activity on the Kept Platform;
e. to protect the security and integrity of the Kept Platform and our business;

We will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties, unless you authorise us to do so.

Personal information will be retained only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which the information was collected (including any time that we are required by law to retain such information).

We will take reasonable steps to keep your personal information safe from loss, unauthorised activity, or other misuse.

Any personal information you provide to us will be collected and stored by us on the Kept cloud server in data centres located in Australia. 

If we believe there has been a privacy breach, we will take steps to identify the issues and minimise any harm. If we believe that the breach has caused, or is likely to cause, serious harm then we will comply with our obligations under the Act. As soon as practicable after becoming aware that the breach has occurred, we will notify the Privacy Commissioner and (if required under the Act) and the individuals who may have been affected.

If you believe that there has been a privacy breach which affects you, please contact us as soon as possible.

You are entitled to access and correct your information at any time by contacting us or viewing your details on your account page.

You are responsible for all actions taken with your account, user name, email address and password.  Please do not disclose these details to any third party.  If you choose to share your user name, email address or password or any other information with a third party, then you are responsible for all actions taken with this information.

It is important for you to protect against unauthorised access to your password and to your computer. You should ensure that you logout when you have finished visiting the Kept Platform.

We may set and access cookies on your computer.  Cookies are text files that identify your computer to our server, so that when you visit the Kept Platform again, the cookie will identify your computer to our web server. This allows us to improve the speed and reliability of the Kept Platform and provide you with a better service.  You can disable cookies by changing your Internet browser settings.  However, if you do not enable cookies, the Kept Platform may not function as intended.

If you are registered on the Kept Platform, you may receive emails from us regarding products, services and promotions that may be of interest to you.  You can opt out of these emails at any time.

We will take all reasonable steps to keep your personal information secure and prevent unauthorised access or disclosure.  However, we cannot prevent, and are not responsible for, interception or "hacking" of information transmitted through the Kept Platform by unauthorised third parties.  Accordingly, any information you provide us is transmitted at your own risk.

The Kept Platform may contain links to external websites.  We recommend that you check the privacy policies of websites you choose to link to from the Kept Platform so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share information.  We are not responsible for the privacy policies or other content on websites linked from the Kept Platform.

We may collect statistics about your use of the Kept Platform to improve the Kept Platform and monitor traffic. Such collection does not identify individual users and does not result in personal information being collected or stored about you.

We may update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice.  By continuing to use the Kept Platform, you accept this Privacy Policy as it applies from time to time.  For this reason, we encourage you to review this Privacy Policy regularly.
